Limited Lifetime Warranty
We design our bottles to make hydration easy, fun, and ready for life’s chaos — and we stand behind that promise. Every Owala® bottle, mug, and tumbler is covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Accessories and soft goods are covered under a One-Year Limited Warranty. Please refer to the individual product page to confirm which warranty applies to your item.
If something’s off, we’ll make it right
Material or Workmanship Defects:
If your Owala product arrives with a manufacturing flaw or defect in materials or craftsmanship, we’ll replace the defective part (or the entire product, if needed) free of charge.
Use as Intended
Our warranty applies to products that are used and cared for according to their intended purpose and care instructions. It does not cover standard wear and tear, accidental damage, or damage resulting from improper use.
Authorized Purchases Only
Our warranty only applies to Owala products purchased directly from owalalife.com, an official Owala retailer, or an authorized seller.
Like all good things, our warranty has limits. It does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents, chips, or faded paint).
- Accidental damage (drops, impacts, misuse, or neglect).
- Cosmetic damage that doesn’t affect performance.
- Improper care, cleaning, or storage — including stubborn odors, mold, or rust. (Our bottles are rust-resistant, but rust from trapped moisture isn’t typically covered. Not sure if yours qualifies? - Lost or stolen products.
- Third-party modifications, engravings, or accessories.
- Products purchased from unauthorized resellers or secondhand marketplaces.
The term lifetime refers to the functional lifetime of the product — not your lifetime (we plan on you outlasting us). If your item qualifies under warranty, we’ll make it right with a fair resolution based on product availability. In most cases, that means issuing a warranty voucher so you can choose a comparable lid or bottle as a replacement.
1. Gather your info: Have your proof of purchase ready — a receipt or order confirmation from an authorized retailer.
2. Show us the issue: We may ask for a photo or short video to confirm the defect.
3. File your claim: Fill out our warranty claim form with your details. Our team will contact you with next steps.
4. Send us your product (if needed): In some cases, we’ll ask you to ship it to us for review. Don’t worry, if we request the return, we’ll cover the cost of shipping. We’re always looking to make our products better, and like everyone, we learn the most from our mistakes.
Once your claim is approved, we’ll offer a fair resolution to replace the affected part or product at no cost to you.
Owala® makes no other warranties, express or implied, concerning the product or the merchantability or fitness thereof for any purpose. The term “lifetime” refers to the lifetime of the product. This Warranty is void if the product is repaired or modified in any way by someone other than our Company. We reserve the right to request photographic proof of product defect and request that the defective product in question be shipped to us to verify the defect or to aid in quality control efforts. We do not offer monetary reimbursement nor is the Warranty transferable. The total liability for any loss or damage, whether based on contract, warranty, negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the purchase price of the Owala product. In no event shall we be liable for consequential, incidental or special damages of any kind.
